My driver had a sister in a green card marriage in San Fran, and we had another local worker in the compound whose brother was in the US in a green card marriage even though he had another wife at home.  These guys talked about these things openly.  It is super common in ethnic communities from this country in the US and UK.  They have a whole industry of corrupt “agents” who help young men from this place get into the UK, but there is also a thriving tradition of marrying cousins already in the UK to get more of the family there.  This is all very real and kind of shocking that it is so blatant.[/quote]
