This is my issue.  I don’t care if kids are doing practices on the side etc and know they will be leaving - I have 2 kids both have had to toxic behavior begin the minute a kids gets a higher level offer and states I made X and you made Y - so I am better than you.

Maybe at older ages as kids are in HS season it makes sense but coaches can only stop it by benching the kids which is then seen as punishing them for switch clubs next year and most parents don’t hear or see it or aren’t receptive - twice I brought it up and the parent said well my kid is better than yours so they shouldn’t be humble.

It’s tied to the offer physically being received so early on that drives me nuts [/quote]
