OP here. I have a super smart kid with no executive function skills and no motivation whatsoever. She needs to be able to access any handouts/assignments/info online (or have them emailed to her) and have a daily list of assignments. Notes would be helpful, but not essential. Frequent breaks and organizational help were in the neuropsych recommendations. Is the ability to turn in assignments late without penalty a thing? That would also help her. And save my sanity.
All of these things are 504 things. Extended time on assignments is a thing but avoiding penalty for missing that deadline isn’t. You might want to consider requesting alternate ways to turn in assignments, like by email. Also always take a photo of every completed assignment in case it doesn’t get turned in or it gets lost. As for getting something in place until she is enrolled, the school can’t help you. And you can’t enroll before you’re ready to move her because after 2 weeks if she doesn’t attend, she will be disenrolled. You need to go to the MCPS office of private parochial schools to request an evaluation. That office is responsible for evaluations for kids in private. If you Google it, all of the information will come up. If your neuropsych is current and further testing isn’t needed you may be able to shorten the process. But I wouldn’t expect to have anything formal in place until close to the end of the year. So you will have to work with the teachers to provide informal accommodations. Some schools are really good about doing so because it is a best practice.
