Is the ability to turn in assignments late without penalty a thing? That would also help her. And save my sanity.
extra time can also apply to assignments. we had "renegotiate deadlines" as an accommodation in addition to extra-time. IME, the problem is that teachers often don't grade things right away and by the time you know something was not turned in, it is also too late to hand it in late. But, it is still worth getting these and trying to use them. YMMV depending on teacher.

With teachers its hit or miss. Some go above and beyond and some do the absolute minimum. Transfering a child in Feb, except if they are forced to leave is cruel. It takes months to get an IEP so you will not have one till at least next school year. Go to the office of private school for an IEP for now.
Did you read OP's post? Her kid is not being supported in private.
All they said was that child was only getting extra time. The things discussed here are a dream.

You won't get those things with a 504 and they won't give you an iep if your child is smart.
Fight to stay at private. Thank me later.
What are you talking about? Those things are included in 504 plans.
Our counselor specifically told us we can't have a list of assignments in our 504 plan.
