Maybe my boys are just chunks :) But there's also something to be said about a high chair that your kids can get into themselves once they are toddlers.  They can climb on and off of it with ease, so when I yell "Dinner!" they know to run to their chairs to get in place.  We live in a small apartment, so they also use the dining table as a place to draw and play w/some of their Magnatiles etc., so it's nice that they can use their Tripp Trapps at the table.[/quote]
My kids switched to the Ikea toddler chair between 2 and 3 yo.  It's also great.

Link?  Child almost 35 pounds. Ikea antelop weight limit 33 and rubbermaide commercial is also 33 pounds.  Anyone have this?

We have two for our kids and my four year old son loves his. It’s just the right height to sit at the table, even with the infant seat attached. We also appreciate that it can tuck under the table fully like the regular chairs and doesn’t always stick out.  I have tripped over the legs a few times, but I think most chairs the legs are angled out for stability.[/quote]
