Ikea. Cheap and sturdy and easy to clean. I had a fancy one and very soon discarded it for Ike. Learnt my lesson with baby number 2.

Peg Perego Siesta - expensive but I used it from 3-months to now at 4.5 (and my daughter is tall — 90th percentile) and I’ll keep using it for as long as I can!

I feel like all the parts are sturdy and it looks good with our other dining furniture. I’m able to shorten it and push it in with the other chairs so it kind of just blends in too.

Whatever you do don't get the bloom fresco highchair. We got it second hand because I wanted something bar counter height and that had a newborn setting. It's a big piece of junk. I just know feeding will be a nightmare. So many spots for food. It's cheaply made for retail $500+

Maybe my boys are just chunks But there's also something to be said about a high chair that your kids can get into themselves once they are toddlers. They can climb on and off of it with ease, so when I yell "Dinner!" they know to run to their chairs to get in place. We live in a small apartment, so they also use the dining table as a place to draw and play w/some of their Magnatiles etc., so it's nice that they can use their Tripp Trapps at the table.

My kids switched to the Ikea toddler chair between 2 and 3 yo. It's also great.

Link? Child almost 35 pounds. Ikea antelop weight limit 33 and rubbermaide commercial is also 33 pounds. Anyone have this?

I'm GP and need to get 2nd high chair


We have two for our kids and my four year old son loves his. It’s just the right height to sit at the table, even with the infant seat attached. We also appreciate that it can tuck under the table fully like the regular chairs and doesn’t always stick out. I have tripped over the legs a few times, but I think most chairs the legs are angled out for stability.

Hated my Tripp Trapp with a passion until my kid got out of the babyset. That is the worst designed tray and harness system ever. The underside of the tray has 100 tiny triangle compartments that are not possible to clean out. The harness is impossible to adjust and unfasten. It’s just horrible all around.

That said, the Tripp Trapp is great fortoddlers and preschoolers. We’ve loved it since age 2.

Get the IKEA one for babies.

We did Kaboost because could use our own chairs and easy to transport to in-laws. Kids like because are at the big table.

I like the 4moms too though I think they stopped making it. Also no way you could pull it up to a regular height table. I have both 4moms and Stokke and the stokke is significantly shorter and table height.


Yes, the 4moms it works at regular height tables it easily adjusts to raise and lower.
