Anyone have an in-state student who applied to JMU but was rejected in past (I know this year's decisions aren't out, yet)? Wondering what stats/profiles get rejected because it's the only school in my senior's basket. While that makes me nervous, they seem to take it for granted they will get in. But our local school district data indicates almost half who applied last year did not get accepted.
What really matters is where your child fits in the district data. Is their gpa and SAT in line with the kids getting in? That’s your answer. The scattergram should be obvious
Love that you assume there’s a scattergram at every school. Our public only started to use naviance this year so there’s nothing to look at yet. Is there another place I can sort by school and see a scattergram?
Love that you assume that you are the main character and everyone exists just to serve you.
I don't know what your point is. The only part of the above exchange I (OP) posted, is the original question. Still, like the other person you're responding to, I wouldn't know how to find the info you say should be at our fingertips. Regardless, I'm trying to determine whether there are high-performing students similar to my child who are still getting rejected by JMU.
