Truth of it is that the friends we were with? An embarrassment all night. They cut in line at the buffet enraging about 10 people behind them and when DH mentioned it the guy said "You were holding our place in line." Not how it works. Then the same guy bumped into a lady on the dance floor and instead of letting it go he turned around and tapped her on the shoulder to apologize and was holding her shoulder tightly the whole time. Probably not even aware he was doing it. Her Dh got pissed off and said "It's fine, it's fine" in an annoyed voice and waved him off aggressively. The dj had a great world-music vibe going and he kept going up to him on the stage demanding "YMCA." Then when the check came he pulled over multiple staff members to check to see if the 20% service charge was a tip because he didn't want to add anymore. He also insulted me multiple times -- without even knowing it -- with awkward stuff he said.

It was a trial and a tribulation. But the fancy rooms, the pretty falling confetti, the bubbly, the pretty NYE desserts, my perfect dress and the new jewelry DH got me for Christmas, etc, etc, etc, looked good in the reel. Don't believe SM, lol.
