How does patriotism and prayer in school help with academics?   you know what doesn't help? Insisting kids learn about the Bible. Save that for Sunday school.

Disagree.  Prayer and religion in schools definitely helps many young people with anxiety and behavioral issues.  Furthermore, those areas are Christian areas.  If those Christian parents want Bibles in the schools, no harm done.  What’s it to you?   Public schools everywhere often try to respond to and embrace the cultures of the students they serve.

Surely you understand that even in the bible belt, not every student attending is religious, right?  No, this should not be left up to the states.  Religion has no place in public schools, period.[/quote]
