NCI pulls in a lot of teams from out of state and many qualifying cuts are faster than senior champs.  It certainly takes a faster time to final.  It’s a really fast meet. [/quote]

NCI is just an incredibly fast meet.  Thankfully Turkey Claus, sport Fair winter classic, etc exist for the not incredibly fast. [/quote]

NP here and we are from one of those clubs who doesn't get invited to NCI. Last year, we sent swimmers to the Winter Classic that had Sectionals, Futures, and JNats cuts. So, it's definitely not accurate to say there aren't fast kids at this meet. We are thankful the Marlins host this meet for other clubs as our swimmers have a lot of fun participating each year.
