Flint Hill dropped off this year for volleyball. Don’t know the details, but I’ve heard there was some kind of change in how the school was handling admissions and they are no longer able to prioritize applicants for sports so they haven’t been able to attract as much volleyball talent as in the past.

GDS went undefeated in the ISL regular season and are the favorites to win the ISL and DCSAA championships. Holy Cross volleyball is a little stronger than SJC, but I think Bishop O’Connell is probably the favorite to win the WCAC.

As other have noted, HS volleyball doesn’t mean much in terms of recruiting. Of course it’s fun to be on a better team, but good club volleyball is much higher level than any HS team in the area.
