Sure, The Beatles have an unquestionable place in music history. They influenced the sound of popular music. I don't think anyone is rejecting that.

They didn't invent music bands, though they were one of the first big ones in the new genre called rock.

They were the first rock band. Elvis did not form a rock band.

Before the Beatles, bands were primarily one person backed by others. Elvis fit that mold. So did Buddy Holly.

The Beatles were the first musical group where all members contributed to the songwriting and all members were known as equal members of the group.

Elvis also did not go on a stadium tour. The first stadium show was 1965 shea stadium.

Ok, let me specify:

Elvis did play stadiums. But he did not do an extensive stadium TOUR.

He played a 5 date stint.

The Beatles did 3 separate, long stadium tours. They started stadium rock.
