You're probably better off just shedding the weight with diet and exercise. My friends who did Ozempic to lose a bit of weight, like before weddings, for a big trip, after having kids, etc. all put it back on once they stopped. Ozempic slows your digestion so you feel full longer. It doesn't do anything to cure the underlying issues of not eating the correct foods or exercising. So, you stop the shot and the weight comes right back plus some.
This is incorrect, to the point of misinformation. Semiglutides DO actually affect “the underlying issues” in that it combats insulin resistance, a real condition in a lot of people which affects metabolism and how certain foods are processed and stored (and craved, btw). Speculation is that it is a diabetes-like condition they are still researching. That’s why they aren’t right for every overweight person and work way better on some than others. The idea that it is simply an appetite suppressant is wrong. Please do not comment without knowledge, this could mislead people.
