We moved from MoCO with a young but talented travel team girl and found an under-resourced girls basketball environment in our new state and large metro city in the south.

When we finally found the one semi-deep program, they wouldn’t put any new 10 yos on the A team or B team. Too much politics. Roster was full. 10 players max. Go on the new C team.

Some girls grades only had 4-7 players even for gr 5. Athletic girls who wanted to play or played before, couldn’t find a good program or team so quit to do lax, v ball or even water polo. Meanwhile beginners churned in and out and either never got better or moved on.
