Within 6 months I dropped to a healthy bmi and came off blood pressure meds. That was 2015. [/quote] 1) skipping meals. There is no need to skip meals. If it's something that works for you, fine. But you absolutely do not have to skip meals in order to lose weight. Especially if you only plan to do it in the short term. I lost 70 lbs (posted above) and never skipped meals. 2) No gluten. This is such a stupid fad. Unless you have celiac there is no need to avoid gluten and it certainly has nothing to do with weight loss. I eat good quality sourdough bread and do just fine. 3) absolutely no snacking. Why? that's just stupid. a healthy snack or veggies and fruits is certainly not going to harm your weight loss prospects but starving yourself certainly will. 4) no sugar. Plenty of sugar in fruits. It's the added sugars and processed foods that are the problem. So, while I believe you that you lost weight by skipping meals, for most people that would lead to gaining the weight back because it's not sustainable.[/quote]
