She’s a washed up politician with no future in the Republican Party, just like all the other “Republicans” who have endorsed Harris. None are in office. Republican voters have solidly rejected Cheney. Her only future is as a commentator on a liberal media channel as their pet “Republican”, just like Kinzinger. She is doing this out of her own self-interest and to try to stay relevant.

You’ve got the order wrong. Cheney didn’t become a “washed up” politician and then take on Trump to become relevant; she was one of the most powerful House Republicans until she condemned Trump’s attempted coup. That ended her political career because the cult members turned on her. She has nothing personal to gain from endorsing Harris. She’s now persona non grata to Republicans and she’s not electable as a Democrat, nor does she want to be a Democrat. She disagrees with Harris on policy, but recognizes the threat that Trump poses. There’s no other circumstance that would cause her to endorse Harris.[/quote]

Agree with this. I would add that I am seeing more articles about gop discussion re getting beyond Trump. Who knows. But Cheney is young enough to be playing to lead a resurrected post-trump gop. She’ll need an existing democracy for that plan to take her to potus. And as a Cheney she is a well trained politician. [/quote]

She can’t win a Republican primary election. I am a Republican-leaning independent, and I wouldn’t vote for her for any reason. You must be a Democrat, because we don’t like Cheney. Someone who endorsed a far-left  Democrat for President is unelectable in any Republican primary election.[/quote]

No, the Republican voters of Wyoming already voted and overwhelmingly rejected her. She wasn’t serving their interests in Congress, just pursuing her anti-Trump agenda. She is not going to win any Republican primary. Endorsing a Democrat like Kamala Harris for President is the death knell any type of  candidacy.[/quote]
