She does not embody Callas in any way, shape or form. She's way too cold and reserved. Callas had a big bold effusive diva personality. Jolie can do intense and imperious but can't inhabit that kind of larger-than-life personality. Bad casting.[/quote]

I agree the clip did not present her performance well. She looks beautiful, but looks and acts nothing like Callas. The butler was very good. It was a strange clip to choose. Why not a more compelling one of her 'performing,' if apparently she did okay there? Anyway, Netflix thinks it will do okay. They don't care about super-high quality just big names.[/quote]

She is incapable of immersing herself in a role. She is always Angelina, no matter what part she plays. She thinks putting on a terrible accent will cover her abysmal acting abilities.
