W&M is a university so naturally it’s a better institution. Liberal arts colleges are not good schools. Williams has the outcomes of a T200
What part of College of William and Mary do you not understand?
It’s a university
So is Richmond
Any school that has any graduate degrees can claim to be a university. USNWR uses Carnegie classifications to put school into categories. Ironically, the College of William and Mary is in National Universities and the University of Richmond is in National Liberal Arts Colleges. William and Mary has quite a few more graduate programs and more research than Richmond, although still much less than large universities.
