Much of that money went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which requires its members to give at least 10% of their income, so one might not even consider it a voluntary contribution. The Obamas and Biden's each had significantly less than a tenth of Romney's income. Any attempt to draw comparisons between their finances and Romney's is untenable.
