[/quote] “Likely” not spread the fever isn’t a help at all to someone who can’t get whatever is driving that fever due to immunosuppression, “doc” Kids aren’t always great about washing their hands, or not using their sleeves to wipe their runny noses, touching things, spreading germs in general. Given, a lot of adults aren’t good at those things either but there is no reason for a kid with a fever and runny nose needs to be at a BBQ. Maybe they’d be better places at the park with other kids battling snotty noses where people aren’t sharing food, in close surfers chatting, sharing the bathroom, etc. If kid was good enough to go, they wouldn’t be given Motrin to start with.
