I have also found the MCSL coaches to be very transparent. All the times and meet results are posted (the whole team gets all an and b meet results each week). And, anyone can look at all star times on the MCSL website. So it is rare a coach does something that can’t be explained by trying to make the fastest lineup. (And if you see something strange ask politely - sometimes the software doesn’t input correctly and the coach makes a mistake). FWIW, our coach doesn’t game meets to anticipate the opposing team. He said that is too unreliable bc you never know who will be there. He swims the fastest lineups he can run on paper and lets the chips fall.[/quote]
