I also am aware that not all substances approved for use under USDA organic guidelines are perfect, but the point remains that it is inaccurate to use the Stanford study as an argument against organic milk in this thread. The OP asked specifically about hormones, and the bottom line is that if you are concerned about reducing your exposure to these types of chemicals - understanding it's nearly impossible to eliminate them completely - then the research indicates you should buy organic whenever possible.
