Just be aware that depending on when your flight is, you won't actually get the passport on the same day. I had an appointment to get a passport yesterday, and since my flight isn't until next Thursday, they told me to come back on Monday to pick it up. It's likely only "same day" if you are literally flying out on the same day, or the following day. But I wouldn't put it off that long.[/quote]

How is that complicated? They obviously have to fit it in with many other ‘emergency’ passports when they already have a very full workload. This is a really busy time of the year for issuing passports. [/quote]
