Of course a body builder will be over that but most of us aren't body builders. Adding weights as you age is just plain smart. It helps fight osteoporosis. However, being a higher BMI brings other risks. You may not see them now, but you will.[/quote] No higher bmi does not necessarily bring on other risks. An obese BMI could.., have high blood pressure but only in 25% of obese people, could cause T2D but only in 30%. Can’t even imagine how low those numbers are for a 27 BMI.[/quote]
