Young Sheldon feels like the right time to end it. It's the natural timeline that was established in TBBT. We learned on that show that Sheldon went to CalTech at age 14. He was also 14 when George died. It's a comedy so they probably didn't want to deal with the heavy topics surrounding death. We learned watching TBBT that the Cooper family fell apart after George's death and Georgie had to hold it all together while Sheldon was off in college. Perhaps the new Georgie and Mandy show will a dramady instead of a straight comedy. I don't know if I'll watch it or not.

I tried CSI Vegas because I loved the original but this new reboot was terrible.

The best show on CBS atm is Ghosts. If you don't watch it, you really should. The UK version is great as well and it is on Paramount+.
