No you have it wrong - “Affordable Housing” is for people who make very low incomes. Incomes that there is no way that a person could live in Alex City unless they were receiving all forms of govt assistance. Teachers and public safety officers incomes all exceed the limits for affordable housing.

But that is not how City Council sells it to Alexandrians - the Mayor even says we need to build housing for those who work here.  In reality we are subsidizing an out-of-control illegal population that comes to this City to do nothing but procreate and take up scarce resources.  Anyone who does school pick-up knows this.
