We've all heard of eating breakfast for dinner. But I often eat dinner-type things for breakfast. Ravioli? Sure! Leftover chicken breast? Sure! I was so relived when I found out Japanese people eat fish for breakfast because I sometimes do too, despite being a white american. This morning I was scrounging since I don't have a lot of food currently as a trip is coming, and I just had cashews and blueberries for breakfast. What off-the-beaten-path things do you eat for breakfast?
LOL, as someone who despises breakfast food, my first business trip to Japan was SO validating.
Yeeesss. Japan has awesome breakfasts. I'm not big on breakfast in general right after waking up, but when I do break that fast (might be 10-11am) I eat some kind of savory leftover. I'm definitely that person at brunch bypassing the eggs and french toast for an Italian sub or steak salad. I'd have sushi if it made sense here.
