Yes, math and science go a little deeper and move at a faster pace. It's nice that this is an option, but it would be fine in regular classes, too. My child who went through the program found Spanish to be their hardest class by far.[/quote] Same re: the Spanish. I stand by the idea that we wouldn't have been as happy not in the magnet, but part of that is the cohort, which my child really needs to be motivated. Also during the pandemic the teachers and cohort were really strong. Again, non-lottery. [/quote]
