Where is the moon?[/quote] By definition, the moon is in between the earth and the sun during a solar eclipse. That means the dark side of the moon is facing the earth (aka a new moon). You would never see it normally because there is not enough light reflecting off it to see it. The only reason you will be able to see it during the eclipse is because it will be directly blocking the sun.[/quote]
