They aren't transferring for athletics. They are transferring to Madison to take "sign language" which isn't offered at their in bound school. Oh, and surprise, they just happened to try out for the basketball team and made the team! Wow, varsity![/quote]

This couldn't be more of a bald faced lie.  Madison boys varsity basketball team had zero transfers on their roster.  In fact, their two most talented returning players transferred out to private schools.  The girls team did have one player transfer in during the season from a private school, but Madison was her base school, therefore she was allowed to play immediately.  Madison does not even offer sign language as a class.  Madison basketball is a very competitive program and the teams are difficult to make, for sure.  But please don't just fire off some random crap that has zero basis in reality.[/quote]

Dude, chill out. It was an example. Replace "Madison" with any other FCPS high school and "sign language' with any other obscure course and you have the answer as to how basketball coaches recruit players at public schools.[/quote]
