OP here - yes, I'm flat out ignored despite multiple emails and a couple of calls.  I agree, it's childish and not a situation I'm particularly happy with, but I'm not going to pursue the friendship any longer.  That said, it still hurts to be cut off.  I didn't realize I could hide posts and will look into that.  [/quote]

Do you feel comfortable asking her what's going on?  If not, then I would go ahead and unfriend her.  You don't need to explain why -- if she asks, then you can simply state that you didn't see the point since she basically ignored you.  You are no obligated -- nor do I see the point -- to keep her as a "friend" if she isn't treating you as a friend.  What you have to decide is whether you are OK with not getting updates on her life that you normally get on Facebook.[/quote]
