I posted other thread  - my kid is in at UGA and rejected UF (4.8, 33) so was sort of annoying. But few friends were rejected UGA and in UF.   UF seems a little more popular among Jewish kids- we are but don't care about that overly. UF business courses are mostly online and my son is business. Athens is so cool and UGA campus beautiful. Business building is so nice and has in person classes.  They seem interchangeable. Does your son care about Greek life? Prefer hot weather?[/quote]

He’s on the fence with Greek life. I would guess he would prefer a place not overly dominated by it so he could make the choice once he gets there. I know people like to say only x percentage of students are Greek, but some schools feel very Greek even with 20-30% participation.

Likes nice weather, but we lived in the Midwest for a few years, and he’s comfortable with all four seasons. Both schools seem fun in his eyes, but I’m trying to identify the place where he’ll be most socially and academically successful while still providing good opportunities for life after college.
