Normally I'd say it's fine to scam a business, but Jesus Christ, during a religious observance? Do you also speedrun your first sin after confession?
How is ordering food scamming a business? Some of you people need to lay off the caffeine.
Don't play coy, it's exploiting a business owner to save a few bucks via a discounted children's menu, which is subsidized by higher margin main menu items. In a high-trust society you don't do such a thing. But these days folks really have no shame.
She’s paying for the food, you fool.
She's exploiting a subsidized age 2-12 kid's meal x 4 on a religious holiday. Kid's meals are low margin if not no margin so parents, grandparents and teen kids come in and order high margin entrees, apps, and drinks. If every shameless cheapskate exploited the kid's menu the restaurant would go out of business, you fool.
I'm an adult and often order from the kids' menu because of a serious health problem I have, but I am cognizant of this issue. I would have no shame doing it at a place like the cheesecake factory, but at a local business I make sure to order enough to make up for the loss they are taking on the kids' meal, like appetizers, having my kid order off the adult menu, etc. And I always tip as though I had ordered an adult entree. A lot of places let adults order off the kids' menu but just make them pay a little extra for it. I think all restaurants should do that so the issue is settled.
