Is there any possibility your child also has inattentive ADHD? You can look up the Vanderbilt checklist online, and our dx was part of a full neuropsych but dx was based on parent and teacher responses on the Vanderbilt and parent interview. Adhd meds might help with retention/ recall, but it's hard to say. It sounds like a really tough situation.
Thank you. The last time DC was tested was during Covid so the testing wasn’t completely accurate bc it was sort of piecemeal. No ADHD flags were raised then but that doesn’t mean it’s not a possibility. We just requested that DC be retested again by the district now that the testing environment will be “normal.”
