African Americans are descendants of people who were brought as slaves from Africa and who had their cultural ties intentionally destroyed, so they part of a uniquely American culture. There are large populations of both groups in PG, and Montgomery County. Seton and AHC are the two all girls schools with the largest African populations.[/quote]
