I love winter. I love feeling cold outside then running inside to warm up, and falling asleep all nice and cozy in my warm duvet. Long periods of darkness don't bother me at all, I grew up in a place where the sun set at 3pm in the winter. I hate the summers here, however. SO MANY MOSQUITOES. I can stand (barely) the humidity and heat. But I have a reaction to mosquitoes bites and just can't stand them.
NP. I also grew up in a place where the sun didn’t fully rise until after 8:30 (we walked to school in the dark) and set at 3 during the winter. Hated it then, hate it now. The cold doesn’t bother me, but the short gray days definitely do. OP, at least the days are getting longer now.
