This has been the case for years!! There's a lot of bad info on this thread (and elsewhere.) People extrapolating from one or two stories they've heard. Or interpreting their own kid's experience as emblematic of some big new trend. Look at the data folks. Some schools take a lot of their entering class in ED. Some don't. Every school lists this info in its common data set.
