Those are two different things: looking rich as in you grew up with enough wealth that now you truly don't give two cr**s, or looking rich like you're the kind of woman a rich man would marry because you're proper and his dad would approve. OP is aiming at the latter.[/quote]

Sure but that's not where OP is now - now she's already married, but expecting her husband to start earning a lot more, and it sounds like she wants to dress as if she's the woman that a guy with that kind of money would marry the first time.

Maybe I'm reading her wrong, but that's my take.

Or maybe she is totally secure in her relationship but wants to dress like the rich wives she expects to be hanging around - she's dressing for rich women instead of rich men. I think that might be a different strategy?
