The Queen mostly wore vivid colors. Kate also wears lots of bright colors.

Money helps. But I’m thinking on a future scale, anything I should be doing now.
My first thoughts are
*fitness. I don’t have to wait to work on that
*skin skin skin
The other stuff is maintenance that is easy to amplify. Just get a great hair stylist or makeup artist.
Already I have made huge improvements on a cute capsule style way of dressing. Even though it would be amplified later, I have connective outfits down. I have a vision for what looks best on me, color and shape.

Good clear, radiant skin with very minimal makeup.
Groomed - subtly shaped brows, well kept hair, clean shiny nails, etc.
Well fitting, fresh clothes, no piling and no tired looking material.
So far I have 1 and am working on the rest.

She drives a used ford focus but lives in a $10 million dollar house. She wears an antique Tiffany diamond ring but buys clothing from Target. She does her own hair and nails too. You get the picture.
Those are two different things: looking rich as in you grew up with enough wealth that now you truly don't give two cr**s, or looking rich like you're the kind of woman a rich man would marry because you're proper and his dad would approve. OP is aiming at the latter.
It’s more strategic to be the last wife, which can require a different aesthetic.

Anonymous wrote:My former MIL is wealthy beyond my comprehension. She buys her cosmetics and hair products at Safeway or CVS. Gets a cheap perm from the old guy that does all the little old ladies' hair in her neighborhood. For her, the 'elite' look is that weird subtle money thing. Never a brand or logo in site. But you just know it is something you could never in a million years afford. Or that she bought it at Walmart. Total crap shoot with that woman.

I'm wealthy and have the look. The secret is to:
1. BE THIN
2. Pair very expensive things with cheap things - i.e. my $400 shoes with a well fitted dress from Target I got for sale $15 and tailored.
3. Subtle REAL jewelry, e.g., diamond studs- never cz
4. Always dress for your figure. Never wear 'sweat pants'. Aviator Nation make folks look like they're wearing a giant diaper, so I don't get why people would pay money to look that way
But mostly be thin and fit!
