We drove and parked at City Center for $10. It's a 5 min walk from the arena. Thousands of people streaming out and doing the same thing at 12:45 so it didn't feel sketchy.

There was a police involved shooting 2 blocks away around 8:30, when the show was supposed to start. Also very close to the holiday market. The man shot had a gun and fled from police. So, not that cleaned up.

We walked from Zatenya to the arena at 930pm. Didn't see anything, it was very calm.

Literally saw two homeless people in our entire time downtown. It's a lot less than a year ago.

I wouldn't worry about homeless people, but ending up in the wrong spot with a shootout would be more concerning. What you saw does not change the reality of what happened, right by the arena and right by the market. Dial back the drinks. [/quote]
