NP. You're cute. You see two homeless people in one evening downtown and tell others to "unclench" on the basis of that. You don't get that you're equating visible homeless people with crime, do you? The ones committing crimes around there aren't the homeless you see on grates trying to stay warm, idiot.

You seem pitifully unaware of the huge spike in crime including carjackings and muggings in DC, including the area around the arena, in the past year or so. But you do you, brave ol' city dweller. I know that area well and it's unquestionably less safe, night or day, than it was a year ago. A simple search online would have told you that, with plenty of statistics, but you can't be bothered because as long as YOU feel safe and cozy, it's all good, right?

100% DC is rapidly deteriorating and so easy to see.

That said, I’m going to the concert tonight and fully aware that if I make it home unscathed I’ll be lucky. I will leave my Canada Goose jacket at home and prepare to Vogue my way home hopefully in my car that still has wheels and doesn’t attract carjackers as I venture out. 🤘🏼

I wouldn't worry about homeless people, but ending up in the wrong spot with a shootout would be more concerning. What you saw does not change the reality of what happened, right by the arena and right by the market. Dial back the drinks.

I saw her last night as well. Good show - a solid 7/10 from me. It was fun and I haven't seen her in concert since I was in my early 20s, but it was no Eras Tour, for me at least. If someone offered me free tickets to see Taylor Swift this weekend, I'd say heck yes and go again even though I went twice this past summer. If someone gave me a free ticket to tonight's Madonna show, I'd pass and say thanks, I'm good.

Now that I'm 40, I need a half day off work to pre-game nap before any event that keeps me out past 10:30 pm and a full day off work the next day to recover. I took a half day off from work so I could nap in the afternoon since I know she's notorious for starting late. So glad I did that and have today off.

I probably would have been pissed about the super late start if I hadn't bought super cheap last minute tickets over the weekend.

No. She played in NYC all weekend and has not started her show before 10:20pm. Her first night in Brooklyn she didn't start until 11pm!!! And she's getting criticism for it, but is clearly more concerned about her than her fans. That's fine, but without fans you don't have a successful tour.

DP. I think it's kind of telling that I, perfectly in line demographically with the people who grew up on her music, had zero idea she was on tour at all, and no idea she was in DC last night. Maybe her promotion just sucked. But no traction for this concert that I saw anywhere, on social media, on the local news, nothing.
