I know it's a public street and [b]I would tell them to move it if I needed the space [/b]but it's not encroaching yet but I know it's [b]encroaching[/b] on our next door  neighbors space. He's older and parking aways away from his house. It's just rude. Our street is narrow and with four cars space is limited. Since the street is narrow there should be more etiquette to park in their driveway or garage. [/quote]

If the front of their house is car less and they're parking for weeks on end in front of my house yes I would tell them to stop and make it known they're being rude because I take care of a senior parent who needs that space. They are encroaching with their rude etiquette. [/quote]
Does your parent have a handicap sticker? My neighbor got a handicap sign in front of his house for an elderly family member, so that spot is always open for them.[/quote]
