There were 2 heats of 8U 100 IM , the very last event, neither of them longer than 2:30. That isn’t “tons” unprepared kids signing up for 100s and was certainly not the major reason for the long meet. Swimmers have to try new events to get better, this isn’t the Olympics.[/quote]
