That's why Israel loves Hamas. The response to a question about West Bank settlements is, but Hamas even though Fatah (who has recognized Israel and is pro-peace) hold power in the West Bank. As long as Hamas was in power in a strip of land no one cared about, Israel had an excuse to take land that they did care about.  [/quote]
