Guest players are doing your team a favor. Be thankful that you have people willing to spend three or four hours in the car for their kid to play 5 minutes. We had a coach like that and once word got around to the B team and the younger teams, he had a lot of trouble finding anyone willing to make the drive. [/quote]

Again. What is the outcome for the team? If they are at a high level of play, they want a win. I can't remember what league your player is in - but some leagues have strict substitution rules - they aren't unlimited. "Matches in the 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U and 19U age groups will operate under the
FIFA-7 players “per half” substitution system (limited substitution). Once replaced, players cannot re-enter the game during that half of play."  This has impacted regular players in addition to guest players. A high level of play is not about equal playing time. You have an option to participate. [/quote]

If you can't play the player, then you don't need a guest. My kid plays USYS and they usually have 14 or 15 for a game by the end of a season due to injuries. [/quote]
