Why do people keep talking about time to exercise. That has basically nothing to do with weight loss. In fact, exercise is usually counterproductive for weight loss. To lose weight, you have to reduce your calorie intake, which means eating less, which usually requires developing better eating habits. That doesn't really take extra time out of your day. Might even take less since you're eating less.
So, how much weight have you lost, and successfully kept off, by only eating less? We'll wait. And don't fudge the "kept it off" part. Tell us your age and genetic details too, PP. What, you won't? So you don't comprehend that age, activity level, genetic background, hormones and more than just "eat less" all affect weight loss.
Not that pp but agree with them. Five years ago, I gradually cut my calories (no crash). After 5 months, I'd lost 30#, which was my goal. At that point, once I felt I had learned how to eat properly, I started exercising. As I increased my exercise level, I also slightly increased my calories. In the 4.5 years since, my weight hasn't varied by more than 1# on any day. I have not yoyo'd at all. Perfectly stable weight loss entirely from calorie reduction. Everybody thinks they know how to lose weight because they listen to a bunch of charlatans telling them confusing, contradictory, and incorrect things that somehow sound good, but the proof is that people who follow that struggle to lose weight. It's actually about learning how to regulate your calorie intake.
