Now might be a good time to open an emergency fund with whatever you can save and be committed to saving. Or maybe open a second fund, split the savings for two and not touch one ever. Just keep adding and never subtracting. That's what we did. In one year it has $12k in it. We even named it health fund. For our health and welfare.

I really don't care about eating out or anyone else's finances, bottom line is me and mine. Not trying to be mean but no one pays our bills but us. And I don't see others caring about me or how we're weathering the financial storm everyone thinks is not going on. It IS going on. So that's that. Time to be selfish and look out for us. [/quote]
