So if i have a 6th grader taking pre algebra I can probably ignore this right? Since they took the 8th grade test and it tested them on stuff they haven't learned yet? I assume they aren't really going to be getting tutoring? Also - this test says my 3rd grader will get tutoring in both math and english. I am not surprised with the English but he was testing ahead in math last summer. I know for 3rd grade it tests them on end of the yr 3rd grade content so I imagine it is not that surprising that they don't know stuff they haven't learned yet.
I will add my 6th grader was told not to pay attention to the scores or rather that they expected them to be lower given its testing them ahead of what they learned. I am actually surprised he scored as well as he did but not good enough to be in the well prepared category. Also the middle category is kind of odd becuase it says "at risk of needing additional support" so now that they necessarily need additional support but that they are at risk of needing it?
