I like Finley for a girl -- I met one recently who was so sweet and the name really suited her.

Obviously some of the names on his list are automatic vetos as they are not serious suggestions. But I'll tell you right now that your DH has already given you more to work with than mine ever did. My DH refused to proffer names and just shot down names I suggested. It made the process pretty miserable as it didn't feel like "we" were picky a name so much as I was coming up with names for his rejection or approval. But when I pointe this out, he'd say "no I'm letting you choose the name, I just get veto power." But then he vetoed all my favorite names.

So maybe be grateful he's made a list this long with some actually decent options on it. If none of these work for you, I'd give him your list and then ask if maybe you can find some more traditional names that have the sci fi/fantasy connection he obviously wants. There are other options. But he's actually putting some effort in and I would try not to just shoot it all down or get frustrated because trust me, it could be worse.[/quote]
