Boys: Finn, Jacob, Lucas, and I guess Landers and Clark
Girls: Scarlet, Diana (love Diana!)

On the off chance this is a serious list, you need to ask your DH what the references are for whatever names you potentially agree to. I'm seeing literary and movie names here, so make sure you like the characters and books/movies he's getting them from.

I think your husband has a couple favorite names that he REALLY wants to use. His strategy is to give you a list with the absolute most ridiculously horrible names on the face of the planet so that when you get to something halfway normal you’ll happily accept it. This is manipulative and he’s not participating in good faith.

What does your list look like? Because I agree that he's trolling you to get Finn or something, but he doesn't get to pick by himself even if he has a nefarious plan to get his way.

I like Finn, Jacob, Lucas, and Diana. I could live with Alex though would probably push for Alexandra.

I like Finley for a girl -- I met one recently who was so sweet and the name really suited her.

Obviously some of the names on his list are automatic vetos as they are not serious suggestions. But I'll tell you right now that your DH has already given you more to work with than mine ever did. My DH refused to proffer names and just shot down names I suggested. It made the process pretty miserable as it didn't feel like "we" were picky a name so much as I was coming up with names for his rejection or approval. But when I pointe this out, he'd say "no I'm letting you choose the name, I just get veto power." But then he vetoed all my favorite names.

So maybe be grateful he's made a list this long with some actually decent options on it. If none of these work for you, I'd give him your list and then ask if maybe you can find some more traditional names that have the sci fi/fantasy connection he obviously wants. There are other options. But he's actually putting some effort in and I would try not to just shoot it all down or get frustrated because trust me, it could be worse.
